TRANSITION FROM OPEN TO ROBOTIC‐ASSISTED RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY

We agree with the authors [1] that delays to definitive treatment for high-risk bladder cancer should be minimized because it is a potentially lethal disease, and management options need to be discussed with colleagues in a multidisciplinary setting as well as with the patient. In addition, reducing delays should help to ease the anxiety and psychological morbidity that patients and their families suffer.
