Studying Sound Localization in Frogs with Behavioral Methods
暂无分享,去创建一个
The chapter describes how the natural phonotactic behavior of frogs and their orienting responses towards a sound source can be used to measure the acuity of sound localization. First, some basic considerations in designing sound-localization experiments in frogs are discussed. Two examples of behavioral sound localization experiments are then given that demonstrate the implementation of such studies.
