There is much conversation in the ultrasonography literature about assembling the necessary equipment and training to embark on an interventional thyroidology practice, but little attention is paid to the space allocation, physical ergonomics, and practice workflow changes that are necessary for maximizing patient outcomes and education in this challenging new field. This chapter provides an overview of the key requirements for setting up a thyroid imaging and procedural suite in an endocrinology, endocrine surgery, or otolaryngology office.
