Personal safety analysis of live working in 10kV distribution network based on finite element method

In order to reduce the power outage time caused by the maintenance and replacement of equipment on the transmission line, live working is widely used in the operation and maintenance of distribution network in China. Because the line is in a live operation state in this mode of operation, the operators are under potential safety risks on the line. In the event of an accident, their personal safety is threatened. In this paper, the electric shock mechanism of 10kV distribution network under live operation is studied. The simulation software Ansys/Maxwell is used to build the distribution network line and tower model. The electric field strength and potential distribution of the charged working space and the operator's body surface are analyzed based on finite element method.
