Method of Probing Anelasticity Parameters of Earth Medium

It is very important using unperfectly elastic coefficient to study massif stability, earthquake generation, mantle convection, continent dynamics, the nonelasticity parameters are also necessary coefficients for high resolution exploration of engineering and oil and gas. In order to probe anelastic parameters using observed seismic body waves, on the basis of derivation of wave equation in medium with linear rheological property, two methods and corresponding theoretical formulas are given, which can determine the parameters of medium with linear rheological property from observed seismic wave velocities and amplitudes. At same time the paper shows a model result by use of body wave amplitude to probe nonelasticity coefficients. These nonelasticity coefficients can determine the anelastic characteristics of earth medium with linear supposition.
