Self-calibrating binary polarization analyzer.

We report a self-calibrating polarization analyzer fabricated with binary magneto-optic polarization rotators. The device automatically overcomes wavelength and temperature dependent inaccuracies and has impressive state of polarization and degree of polarization accuracies of 0.3 degrees and +/-0.5%, respectively, from 1460 to 1580 nm.
