Research on the control approaches of transformer-coupled DC active power filter

The configuration of the stable DC power supply with a transformer-coupled series active power filter is described. On the basis of it,four control approaches of the active power filter are analyzed in detail.The investigations showthat the control strategy of detecting the R-C bypass ripple voltage as the reference signal of the active power filter is the preferred choice.The experimentis carried outwiththis method.The experimental results also verifythe excellentbehaviorofthe power system.
