It systematically introduced the architecture of spreadsheet in office open XML (OOXML) and open document format (ODF), as well as their similarity and discrepancy. It compared not only the physical structure, logical structure, the way of description about some frequently-used features but also description ability of the two standards by the statistical data of features. It is beneficial to use and improve the spread-sheet format in practical application for both OOXML and ODF.
