AC/ID-a decentral media access control with interference detection for mobile radio networks

Microwave channels offer mobile stations the possibility to communicate with each other. In stationary networks like Ethernet a decentral approach harmonizes the access of stations to the communication channel. The article specifies and evaluates a new method for decentral channel access and collision detection in mobile networks. The algorithm is based on TDM (time division multiplex) transmission technique. Evaluations are based on an 'ideal' channel model and a 6 GHz freespace propagation model. >
