Polyaniline-polyisoprene composite film based glucose biosensor with high permselectivity

Abstract Conducting polyaniline–polyisoprene composite film was synthesized electrochemically. The film was successfully used to immobilize glucose oxidase forming glucose sensor. The biosensor has remarkable long-term stability (at least 5 months) and high permselectivity, which can determine H 2 O 2 in the presence of electroactive interferent ascorbic acid. In addition, the influences of applied potential and the composition of the composite film on the characteristics of the biosensor were described in detail.
