Winkelstabile Plattenosteosynthese am distalen Radius: Lösung einer Problemfraktur? Implantat, Nachbehandlungskonzept und Frühergebnisse

Fractures of the distal radius represent one of the most common fractures and have a high social-economic relevance. From March 2001 to February 2002 we treated 64 dislocated distal radius fractures with a new angular stable T-plate with locking screws. A prospective study was carried out to obtain the functional results. Plate, early functional after treatment and results were presented. According to the Gartland and Werley classification more than 75% excellent and good functional results were detected in an early outcome. The operative treatment of unstable distal radius fractures by angle stable plate osteosynthesis allows anatomic reduction of the fracture and early functional after treatment as condition for a good functional end result.
