The contribution contains an investigation of microstrip transmission lines with finite-width dielectric and/or ground plane. The conformal mapping method (CMM) and the method of moved electric wall (MMEW) are used to obtain simple relations for quasi-TEM parameters of such structures. Computed results are compared with available data from other authors obtained by means of various numerical methods.
