Proceedings of the 1st International Workshop on Distributed Objects for the 21st Century

Distributed Objects for the 21st Century is a thematic workshop focusing on the latest trends in distributed object computing. This is the proceedings of the first edition of the workshop. This year, the workshop was hosted by the 23rd European Conference on Object-oriented Programming (ECOOP '09) in Genova, Italy. Four position papers were selected by the organizing committee based primarily on their relevance and originality.
