The Effect of Temperature Changes on Densities of Local Anesthetic/Opioid Mixtures

Spinal anestezi amacıyla uygulanan lokal anestetiklerin (LA) beyin omurilik sıvısı (BOS) içinde yayılımını birçok faktör etkiler. Lokal anestetiklerin dansitesi, ilacın BOS içindeki dağılımını, spinal anestezinin etki süresi ve düzeyini belirleyen önemli faktörlerden birisidir (1). Spinal anestezi uygulamalarında LA’ların dansitelerinden daha çok barisitelerinden bahsedilir. Belirli bir sıcaklıkta, LA dansitesinin, BOS dansitesine oranı barisite olarak tanımlanır (2). Beyin omurilik sıvısı dansitesi cinsiyet, yaş, gebelik ve hastalıklara göre değişebilmektedir. Yapılan çalışma sonuçlarına göre, 37°C de, BOS dansitesi 1,00016-1,00037 g/mL arasında bulunmuştur (3).
