Design of an Interleaved Paralleled High Capacity 380 V Voltage Disturbance Generator

Design difficulties of the 380 V large capacity voltage disturbance generator is analyzed.A novel scheme based on interleaved paralleled H-bridges topology is proposed.With dual relationship to the H-bridge cascaded topology,combined with multi winding transformers and pulse width modulation(PWM) rectifier technology,the topology realizes unit input power factor and electrical isolation between the paralleled modules.Based on the new topology,a control method composed of DC voltage feed forward control and carrier phase shifting PWM method is presented.The scheme significantly reduces load regulation of the voltage disturbance generator.Feasibility and validity of the proposed topology and control method are proved by simulations and experiments.
