Basic Process Integration Terminology

Abstract: This chapter establishes a framework for systematically reading the handbook by defining the basic terms associated with Process Integration. It begins by defining Process Integration and its applications, and then continues with definitions of core Process Integration phases and terms. The main section then defines other significant terms associated with Process Integration in alphabetical order.
