Direct power decoupling control of three phase PWM rectifier with fixed frequency based on virtual flux

A novel strategy of direct power control of three phase PWM rectifier is proposed in this paper. This proposed method solves the coupling problem in the power loop existing in the conventional virtual flux based direct power control (VF-DPC). Theoretical principle of the decoupling control method is analyzed in detailed. Space vector modulation (SVM) is also used to fix the switching frequency. The simulation and experimental results show that the new method has a better dynamic performance than the conventional one.
