NANOCARBON COATED IRON/CARBON COMPOSITE MATERIALS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE APPLICATIONS

The aim of our work is to design and develop a composite material particularly for electromagnetic interference shielding as well as for other electrical, chemical and biochemical applications. This paper presents the results of structural modifications induced by addition process of the nanocarbon coated iron during the heat treatment at 440 o C. The structural investigations were performed by: Small Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) and the functional test were performed by electrical resistivity measurements and loss tangent method measurement.
