The Simulation of PDL Passing Capacity Based on Cellular Automaton

Aiming at the characteristics of mixed running of multi-speed trains on PDLs, the movement rule of cellular automaton model for traffic flow is revised on the basis of relative research. This paper puts forward a cellular automaton model which is used to solve the multi-speed running system of semi-moving blocking section on double-tracked railway, the paper also makes simulation on multi-speed train diagram of PDLs by using this model and analyzes the influence of the different speed train composing rate and overtaking distance on passing capacity of railway section.
