Some Constituents from Lycopodium Carolinianum L. Var. Affine Carolinianine a New Lycopodium Alkaloid

Three alkaloids: lycocernuine [II], anhydrolycocernuine [III] and carolinianine [IV] have been isolated from Lycopodium carolinianum L. var. affine together with the triterpene α-onocerine [I]. The structure of the new alkaloid carolinianine is established and is shown to be [IV].
