Analysis on Medal Distribution and Medallist's Playing Type of Table Tennis in the Olympic Games

From Seoul to Athens Olympic Games,there was a lot of champion emergence in table tennis match.At the same time,the development of table tennis movement was recorded.Players with different gripping method and different kind of playing type showed the unique fascination of table tennis.Through using the method of mathematical statistics,literature investigation,expert interview,this paper made statistics on medal events of each country,analyzed playing type of medallist and trend of performance.The main purpose was to provide the suggestions for athletic training of table tennis.
