FEA Intensity Decision Method in Complex Construction

During the post-processing of finite element analysis results on complex construction,there was not an ideal intensity criterion that could evaluate the intensity,both of the maximum stress point and the weak section of structures.So,the estimation of the finite element analysis results lacks persuasion.After the presentation of several usual intensity criterions,ASME Ⅷ criteria tentatively was introduced and the methods and processes of stress analysis design in ASME Ⅷ was referred,which was treated with the stress under the maximal working loads and test loads.Based on the procedures and methods of finite element method of DG900's auxiliary hook,the overall process of intensity determinant mostly by using the ASME Ⅷ criteria in complex constructions was studied.The study showed that ASME Ⅷ criteria could evaluate maximum stress and weak section of structure.It is valuable to enhance the use of ASME Ⅷ criteria when we design structures.
