Resume Les configurations de cordes sur un cercle sont en relation avec les involutions, les arbres binaires, les arbres ternaires et les decompositions de permutations circulaires en produit de transpositions. Ce dernier cas conduit a une nouvelle formule de recurrence pour les nombres de Catalan.
