By simulating the practical working conditions of thermosyphon in solar water heater,the heat transfer performance of thermosyphons with different working fluids and nonuniform diameters was experimentally investigated.The results indicated that the inclination had a notable influence on the thermosyphon.Thermosyphon had better properties at certain angles.The kinds of working fluids also had some influences on the performance of thermosyphon.The maximum transmission power of 214W was obtained when T-2 was used as a working fluid,while minimum transmission power was 211.1W,and its average transmission power was 211.6W with the variance of 0.98.The performance of the thermosyphon could be satisfied for the solar water heater.
