Abklärung eines Perikardergusses - Welcher Patient braucht eine Perikardiozentese?

Pericardial effusion – Where is a Pericardiocentesis necessary? Causes of a pericardial effusion can be manyfold: viral, bacterial infections including tuberculosis, neoplastic or autoimmune diseases, autoreactive processes including postinfarction and postpericardiotomy syndrome, endocrine and metabolic disorders, as well as diseases from neighboring organs (e.g. pleurisy, pneumonia, pancreatitis) or a simple hydropericardium. Pericarditis as an inflammatory disorder of the pericardium can be associated with a pericardial effusion or without it (pericarditis sicca). The adjacent myocardium can also be involved in the inflammatory
