Research on the Design and Implementation of Electronic Negotiation Medium

Effective support for electronic negotiations is a critical requirement in electronic markets. However,only few efforts address research on the design of electronic negotiation. This paper constructs a framework for the design and implementation of electronic negotiation media (enMedium). Electronic negotiation scenarios can be designed on a conceptual level in the framework. The characteristic and process of the negotiation can be described formally ,to en sure that the negotiating parties have the same understanding regarding the issues that are subject to the negotiation. The framework can provide sufficient support for design and selection of electronic negotiation, and can combine reusable negotiation support components with a specific design.
