Anti-jamming performance simulation of tactical data link communication system

The impact of interference on tactical data link communication system (TDLCS) can be quantitatively described through anti-jamming performance simulation. Therefore, anti-jamming performance simulation of TDLCS is of special interest. The developing status of TDLCS and its simulation technique were introduced. Furthermore, the key anti-jamming techniques of Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) for Link 16 were stressed, including channel coding technique, spread spectrum technique and modulation technique. Then link-level simulation model of JTIDS based on the Simulink platform was established. With this model its anti-jamming performance was analyzed. The research results could be applied in the quantitative evaluation of performance effect for TDLCS suffering from radio-frequency interference (RFI) and optimization design of anti-jamming or jamming strategy for TDLCS.
