Software package for improving the milling process of 3D parts

CAPP and CAM are two modern manufacturing concepts that define a modern manufacturing, typically for nowadays, that aims to increase its efficiency based on growing the manufacturing productivity and cost reduction. Because of the economic crisis that covers entire planet, an economic option for small companies, which haven't a much diversified production, can be the use of cheaper software packages that can solve an important part of their problems quickly and optimally. This paper provides an alternative to consecrated CAD/CAM software that exists on the market, but with high acquisition costs, by designing an original software package, for milling complex parts, that solves successfully many of the CAD/CAPP/CAM problems.
