Genomics and proteomics of lung disease: conference summary.

genomics refers to the analysis of genomes. A genome is the complete set of DNA sequences that code for the hereditary material that is passed on from generation to generation. Thus genomics is the sequencing and analysis of all genes and transcripts in an organism. Proteomics refers to the analysis
