Research on Trace Route Algorithm for P2P Streaming Peer Distribution

As known to all that the current P2P streaming uses the randomized policy to assign peers. It ignores the distance and condition of the network connection between peers. The randomized policy would lead the narrow band or large delay between peers. So this paper proposes the Tracer Route algorithm to find and group the peers. And with the Trace Route algorithm one can fully use the capability between peers to share the data. Meanwhile, one can construct the math- ematical model to calculate the Trace Route algorithm and analyze its performance by simulations, and obtains good results.
