Sorting of Noise Contribution Based on Partial Coherence Theory

To sort the noise sources contribution is one of the effective methods in the vibration and noise reduction for mechanical structures. Conducting specific method tackling with the noise source that contributes most can significantly enhance the effectiveness. For complicated machineries, there are plenty of coherent sources with coupling relations. This paper presents a noise sources sorting method based on partial coherence theory, and compares the effectiveness under different conditions.
