Simulation of service capacity an electric scooter refueling system

A simulation model is developed to perform deterministic location analysis for identifying and assessing the service capacity and performance of a tourism/recreation-oriented electric scooter recharging system using randomness of demand factors. Achievable service capacities of recharging stations located at destination sites with designated levels of service are identified, and bottlenecks in the refueling system are identified. The service levels at specific locations are evaluated on the basis of the utilization of stations, indicating where relocation improves the system's performance. This model can be used to assess both the service capacity and performance of a transport refueling system.
