Network Mobility Route Optimization for Aeronautical Telecommunication Network

Aeronautical telecommunication network(ATN) faces the network mobility(NEMO) problem after adopting IPv6 protocol,and the problem is complicated because of the various correspondent nodes in the airplane.Based on analysis of the constitution and routing strategy of ATN,a routing mechanism for mobile network in an airplane is proposed.The mechanism adopts NEMO protocol and is optimized by a hierarchical routing strategy.Analysis and simulation results illustrate that the proposed mechanism achieves better performance in improving the end-to-end delay and handoff delay.
