Cognitive impairment in bipolar II disorder

Results Comparedwith controls, both bipolar groups showed significantdeficits inmostcognitive tasks includingworking memory (DigitSpan Backwards, P1⁄40.002) and attention (DigitSpan Forwards, P1⁄40.005;Trail MakingTest, P1⁄40.001).Thosewithtype II disorders had an intermediate level of performance betweenthe bipolar I group and the controlgroup inverbalmemory (P50.005) and executive functions (Stroop interference task, P1⁄40.020).
