Overview on Clustering Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network

Clustering is proved to be a fundamental mechanism in efficiently using network energy and increasing network lifetime and scalability.With the research on clustering algorithms,clustering technique can also be adopted as the foundation of other applications.This paper discusses the existing clustering algorithms for wireless sensor network,the objectives and features of clustering algorithms,and the classification based on the application of clustering technique.And finally it gives the focal problems in future research.
