A Simulation Study of Data Flow Time Domain Feature in Power Internet of Things based on OPNET

Functions of supervising and controlling for electrical elements and devices are well revealed on the basis of data flow, which is ubiquitous in widespread power internet of things. Although the data flow types are of great variety, different application scenarios are considered to classify them appropriately according to their features. In this paper, the mass data of widespread power internet of things are divided into three types, which are cyclic data, stochastic data, and burst data. The mathematical models are established based on their way of generating. Moreover, the time domain characteristics are studied thoroughly based on OPNET Modeler. The simulation results are helpful for the researchers to evaluate characteristics of various information systems, which are beneficial for system design and upgrade.
