Orbit and Geodetic Parameter Estimations from global GPS Data

Abstract Prior to the IGS 92 Campaign, the GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (GFZ) and the Forschungsanstalt f. Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) made all necessary software and hardware preparations to take part in the campaign as an analysis center. This paper describes some characteristics of the processing software, focuses on the two problem areas of solar radiation and eclipses and gives some first results from the IGS campaign analysis: GPS orbit ephemerides quality, stations' and satellites' clock parameter precisions and pole position uncertainties.
