Statistical aspects of literary style

As part of an investigation of the authorship of works attributed to St Paul, Morton (1965) found the numbers of sentences having zero, one, two, ... occurrences of ‘kai’ (≡ and) in some of the Pauline works. Table C.1 gives a slightly condensed form of the resulting frequency distributions.
