Simulation on Air Fuel Ratio Control of Motorcycle Gasoline Engine during Acceleration

To study the air fuel ratio(A/F) control of acceleration,a single cylinder gasoline engine model was set up by using GT-Power.The fuel dynamic characteristics in manifold and the function of compensator are based on X-τ model. The fuel compensation is affected by the basic fuel injection,fuel deposit coefficient and fuel film evaporation time constant.The mass of air input,air fuel ratio and cyclical fuel injection were calculated.The simulation results show the feedforward control of transient fuel compensation can reduce the deviation of air fuel ratio to the target A/F.
