OPACIFICATION OF A CORONARY VEIN IN LEFT VENTRICULAR ANGIOGRAPHY.

Since the introduction of angiocardiography as a diagnostic method in cardiac diseases by Chavez et al,1 the extravasation of radiographic contrast media into the myocardium, during its performance, has been a complication previously reported.2-5 Extravasation of the radiographic contrast media into a coronary vein, however, is a rare complication of the procedure. To our knowledge, it has been described only a few times in the world literature.6'7
