Periodic Simulation for Naphtha Pyrolysis in SRT-IV Cracking Furnace

The method for calculation aromatic concentration in reaction tube was proposed to meet Kumar's coke formation model. Integrated with clear tube cracking models and the coke model, simulation for the naphtha pyrolysis in the cracking furnace was accomplished. According to the simulation, the evolution of the cracking furnace operation characters in a whole period was clearly lain out. The profiles of main product yields, coke layer thickness, oil gas temperature, tube skin temperature and other operation parameters with respect to time were studied. Simulation shows that the calculated results were in good agreement with the real working plant practice.
