Study about the Effect of Meshing Stiffness and Meshing Damping on Gear Vibration

Dynamic model of gear transmission system was established by concentrated mass method,and the model was solved by analytic method.The effect of meshing stiffness and meshing damping on gear vibration in gear transmission system was studied.The results show that the vibration and noise problems in gear transmission can be effectively reduced by improving meshing stiffness,increasing meshing damping.Some optimized solutions were provided for reducing the vibration and noise problems in gear transmission system.
