Unsteady Process Analysis of the Power Network with DC-Arc and Optimum Allocation of the Electric Power

From starting-up to stabilization of the arc, the electric current and voltage usually fluctuate acutely, which makes a great impact on other circuit components. In this paper, unsteady process of the power network is analyzed through volt-ampere characteristics curve of the arc, and optimal impedance matching of the power network, which can both meet the electric steady requirements and assure that the arc has satisfactory output power, is also deduced. This paper has a great importance for guiding to use correctly DC-Arc in practice.
