The invention provides a method and a device for controlling a game based on a simulate keyboard. According to the method, a webpage game is loaded on a webpage browser, a container is added on the webpage browser; direction control keys which simulate the keyboard keys are arranged on the container; the direction control keys are used for controlling the direction in webpage game; the method for controlling the game based on the simulate keyboard comprises the following steps: receiving a key event, wherein the key event carries key type judging marks corresponding to the keys and corresponding key description; judging whether the key type judging marks carried in the key event represent the direction control keys or not, if yes, modifying the key type judging marks carried in the key event to be other key type judging marks which do not represent the direction control keys, and transmitting the modified key event to the webpage browser; and realizing the control of the webpage game loaded through the webpage browser by the webpage browser which utilizes the key description carried in the key event.
