NONINVASIVE FUNCTIONAL IMAGING OF CARDIAC DE- AND REPOLARIZATION

The objective of the study was the development of an inverse algorithm for the reconstruction of the activation and of the repolarization time map on the surface of the heart from maps of the magnetocardiogram (MCG) and from body surface potential (BSP) data, For normal ventricular depolarization the activation time map was estimated from the 74-channel MCG data by a relative residual difference (reldifl) of 0.21 and 0.14 on the endocardial and epicardial surface of the heart, respectively. From synthetic 63-channel BSP data the reldiff was found to be 0.22 and 0.10 on the endocardium and epicardium.
