Organizational Stressors and Heart Disease: A Research Model

This paper presents an analytical framework for examining the relationships between organizational stress and coronary heart disease (CHD). The model presented integrates behavioral and medical science perspectives of the etiology of CHD. Propositions emerging from the model and the reviewed literature are presented and managerial implications are discussed.
