Optimization of Secondary Cooling Scheme for ER70S-6 Steel Billet Continuous Casting

In the continuous casting process,the secondary cooling of the billet has a decisive impact on surface and internal defects.Accordingly,we simulate the heat transfertation of continuous casting using two-dimensional model,based on the metallurgical and thermal guidelines and solve the quality problem of billet in a factory.According to the equipment and parameters,we improve the secondary cooling and the new parameters can effectively improve the quality of billet.
