The invention discloses a dynamic carrying capacity assessment method for high voltage cable lines, including the following steps of: a, determining the ontology characteristic parameters of a cable to be assessed; 2, determining the laying environment parameters of the cable to be assessed; 3, obtaining the water migration coefficient and related wind speed, water flow rate, sun illumination parameters of soil in the cable laying land by measurement; 4, establishing a model related to the power cable carrying capacity, a power cable ontology characteristic model and a dynamic model of the cable under operating state by using COMSOL modeling software; 5, determining the boundary condition and discontinuous point processing mode of the power cable flow model; 6, inputting correlation calculation parameters and outputting calculated result according to the determined boundary condition and the discontinuous point processing mode; 7, comprehensively analyzing the assessment result of the dynamic carrying capacity of the cable line according to the calculated result. According to the dynamic carrying capacity assessment method, the dynamic carrying capacity of the high voltage cable can be accurately and quantitatively assessed.
