Non-active power compensation using time-window method

The paper deals with simultaneous compensation of all components of non-active power: reactive power, higher harmonics and an asymmetry in a three-phase network. A new control method which allows to eliminate any non-active components with considerably reduced delay time is proposed. In this paper a new configuration of a compensator power circuit is also proposed. The compensation ability of the new system was verified experimentally.
