Dictionary with tree structure for matching pursuit video coding

Matching pursuit video coding has many advantages. However, this method involves an extremely high computational cost. A new dictionary with a tree structure is proposed as a replacement for the Gabor dictionary. Equal video quality is achieved with both dictionaries but the computational cost is significantly reduced when using the proposed method.
